Kerri Ruzicka

Kerri Ruzicka represents clients in civil and business litigation before state and federal courts with an emphasis in labor and employment law. She also practices professional liability, premises liability, product liability, and insurance defense.
Ms. Ruzicka received her Juris Doctor degree, with a certificate in Governmental Affairs, from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. While at McGeorge, she was the managing editor for the California Initiative Review. She received her B.A. degree in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University and her M.A. degree and two teaching credentials from La Sierra University in Riverside, CA. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
Before practicing law, Ms. Ruzicka worked for the California State Legislature as the education policy consultant for the Republican Fiscal and Policy Office where she advised state legislators on all issues related to California's public schools and university systems. Prior to that she worked for the Riverside Unified School District as a special education teacher.
Ms. Ruzicka is admitted to practice before all California state courts, as well as the federal courts for the Eastern District of California. She is also a member of the Labor and Employment sections of the California and Sacramento County Bar Associations, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Sacramento Association of Human Resource Administrators.
In her spare time, Ms. Ruzicka is a volunteer attorney with the Sacramento Voluntary Legal Services Employment Law Clinic and works with the Sacramento Juvenile Dependency Court as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the state foster system.
