Kimberly A. Shields

Ms. Shields is an associate at Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney in their San Francisco office. She represents individuals and corporations in employment, premises, real estate and construction defect litigation. She additionally provides consultation services to clients with regard to employment regulatory matters and the development of employee handbooks and mandatory sexual harassment trainings and related handbooks.
Highlights
Ms. Shields is the co-author of several articles on employment law and compliance, most recently Coming Home: Dealing With USERRA's Negative Implications, which appeared in the California Employment Law Letter in 2008.

Smallwood v. Fremont Surgery Center (2009) – Successfully argued Wrongful termination/Discrimination/Fraud complaint dismissed after motion for summary judgment, currently before California Court of Appeal.
Ringor v. Kartar S. Atwal Investment Co. (2011) – Wrongful termination/Discrimination/Whistleblower case settled favorably prior to filing of formal complaint by plaintiff.
