Mr. Yuen currently focuses his practice on class action, commercial, construction, insurance, premises liability, products liability, and professional liability litigation matters. He also has previous experience working on intellectual property matters such as copyright, and trademark litigation.

Representative Cases
Deckrow v. Vertical Heaven, et al., Ventura Superior Court, Action Number 56-2008-00323193-CU-PL-VTA, Second Appellate District Action Number B226990, personal injury matter. Counsel for defendant Vertical Heaven, Corporation. Successfully petitioned the appellate court to issue an alternative writ directing the superior court to set aside its order allowing plaintiff’s first amended complaint alleging an unrecognized cause of action for gross negligence to be filed. The trial court subsequently complied with the appellate court’s writ resulting in a defense verdict for the client.
Vanni, et al. v. Rindge Land Reclamation Dist. #2039, et al., San Joaquin Superior Court, Action Number CV025820, commercial litigation dispute. Counsel for defendant Agro Rodent Control in consolidated matters. Court granted motions for summary judgment based on the finding that the client owed no duty to plaintiffs.
Lehman v. City Trees, et al., San Francisco Superior Court, Action Number CGC-08-477999, personal injury matter. Counsel for defendant Great Escape Fire Escape Service, Inc. Court granted motion for summary judgment based on the finding that the client did not breach its duty, nor was it the legal cause of plaintiff’s harm.
Hoyt v. Colonial Acres, et al., First Appellate District, Division One, Action No. A122123 (Unpublished), personal injury matter. Counsel for defendant Colonial Acres Mobile Home Park and Burton Busk. The appellate court affirmed the trial court’s granting of non-suit due to lack of evidence on causation following jury selection and opening statements.
Shakib v. Fremont, et al., Alameda Superior Court, Action No. FG05-230849, personal injury matter. Counsel for defendant Saddle Rack, Inc. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the client after deliberating for one hour.
Digital Signage, Inc. v. Signs America, Inc., et al., San Francisco Superior Court, Action No. CGC-05-438818, commercial litigation dispute. Counsel for cross-defendant and cross-complainant, Team Graphx, Inc. After obtaining an order of non-suit, jury returned a verdict in favor of the client.
Morgan v. Duddy, et al., Sacramento Superior Court, Action No. 06AS01547, commercial litigation dispute. Counsel for cross-defendant West Fork Construction, Inc. Obtained dismissal order for client during initial pleading stage.
Tausan v. City of San Jose, et al., Santa Clara Superior Court, Action No. 1-04-CV015249, personal injury matter. Counsel for defendant, Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Jose. Obtained dismissal order for client during initial pleading stage.
