After just 1 ½ hours of deliberation, a jury unanimously found in favor of Murphy, Pearson, Bradley & Feeney’s clients in the wrongful death action of Denny, et al. v. Latham, et al. (Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 04-AS02190).

The case involved a construction site accident in which the decedent was run over and killed by a backhoe operated by Murphy Pearson’s client.  The decedent, a 34-year old electrician left behind a wife and three small children.  At trial plaintiff’s counsel asked the jury to award the plaintiffs $9.8 million in economic and special damages. 

Plaintiffs were represented by William Callaham from Dreyer, Babich, Buccola and Callaham, and Bradley Larson from Greve, Clifford, Wengel & Paras.
