A graduate of Sonoma State University with a degree in Global Studies, Jackson volunteered at the Hunter Wetlands Centre Australia, Newcastle NSW, where he fostered native wildlife growth through plant propagation, bush regeneration, and invasive species remediation. While completing his legal studies, he interned in the Employee Benefits Security Administration and the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. He also served as an intern for the California Attorney General’s Office in the Environment and Land Law Sections, where he gained experience with various administrative and state laws, including California’s Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.

A Bay Area native, Jackson was born and raised in Sonoma County. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys playing soccer, basketball, or most any other sport.
