Based in Murphy Pearson’s San Francisco office, Laura is a litigation associate whose practice includes professional liability, personal injury, and employment defense. She has experience defending a wide variety of matters, including high-exposure cases involving catastrophic injuries.
Representing businesses and individuals throughout all stages of discovery and litigation, Laura also has participated in all forms of alternative dispute resolution.
While attending law school, Laura volunteered with Boston’s Veterans Legal Services, assisting homeless and low-income veterans to resolve legal issues. She also volunteered at Boston’s Edward W. Brooke Courthouse, assisting pro se litigants with hearings to navigate housing, family and probate court systems.
Later, Laura gained hands-on trial experience while interning at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office. There, she second-chaired two attempted murder trials and represented clients in several preliminary hearings. In addition, she served as a judicial extern to the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco.
