Richard is an associate on the tax and litigation teams in Murphy Person’s San Francisco office. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at a Big 4 accounting firm for several years on tax controversy matters such as IRS audits and appeals, penalty abatement requests, and 9100 relief requests. He also works on global information reporting matters such as FBAR, FATCA/CRS, Form 1042/Form 1042S and Form 1099s consulting and reporting.
During his time at UC Hastings College of the Law, Richard externed for Justice Goodwin Liu on the California Supreme Court and Judge Ernest Hiroshige on the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
