Suzie joined the firm in 2017. She has extensive experience representing lawyers, accountants, corporate directors and officers, healthcare facilities, and physicians in professional liability defense. She further advises a broad range of individual and corporate clients concerning network information privacy and security and data breach response. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), Suzie’s training includes issues related to U.S. privacy laws regarding the collection and use of personal data, government and court access to private-sector information, workplace privacy, and state privacy laws. She also leads Murphy Pearson’s Association of Professional Women.
For more than two decades, Hooshie has been a top trial attorney in Northern California. He joined the Murphy, Pearson team in Sacramento in early 2022. His practice includes general civil litigation with focuses on product defects, professional liability defense, construction, real estate, health care, employment, and high-end personal injury claims. He was acknowledged as a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2009-2012, and was also named among America’s Top 100 Civil Defense Litigators in 2018.
