Elder Care

The professional care of our elderly population is an important responsibility in our society. Corporations and professional caregivers often enter the profession with a passion for their work and a clear mission to provide their clients with safe and compassionate environments.

When family members or regulatory bodies raise claims regarding a facility’s procedures or its professionals, it is important that concerns be investigated and resolved quickly. Our attorneys bring respect and empathy for all parties involved, and approach cases with a deep understanding of the issues and industry standards applicable in the care facility environment.

Experience

Our attorneys, some of whom participate in organizations such as the California Society for Heathcare, are well versed in best practices and industry standards of care expected of the professionals in these environments. We have represented Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs), or Assisted Living, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) in claims brought by the Department of Social Services, as well as private individuals, in claims of elder financial abuse and abuse and neglect within the long-term care setting.
